Debating If A Character Is A Mary Sue Is Missing The True Point
10Konosuba is a very fun series. For better or worse, I had to use it as an example for a tried and true debate about "Mary Sues" aka overly perfect and overly special characters that destroy the story around them, but any specific trait has plenty of counter examples. That alone should prove that the definition of "Mary Sue" is simply not a good definition. It is not describing a real thing in a useful manner.
The actual thing that matters just isn't as good for making youtube content out of.
