Let’s get weird - and undead - with Decap Attack on the Sega Mega Drive, running beautifully on the MiSTer FPGA! 🧠💀 In this hilariously bizarre platformer, you play as Chuck D. Head, a headless mummy (yes, really) who punches enemies with a skull from his chest. It’s spooky, it’s silly, and it’s surprisingly good.

Originally released in Japan as Magical Hat no Buttobi Tabo! Daibōken, the game was completely overhauled for Western audiences into the monster-filled madness that is Decap Attack. Different story, new graphics, same awesome gameplay! In this video, we dive into the Western version, full of snappy action, quirky humor, and catchy tunes - while offering some insights on its Japanese origins.

Running on the MiSTer FPGA, this version is crisp, clean, and lag-free—just like it should be. If you’re into retro games with personality, strange design choices (in the best way), and undead cartoon chaos, you’re in for a treat.

Whether you grew up with this underrated gem or you’re just discovering it, come hang out, enjoy the gameplay, and laugh along with my commentary as we bash our way through monsters and mummies on one of SEGA’s weirdest (and coolest) platformers.

🧟 Hit like, drop a comment, and subscribe for more retro and modern video game fun across all platforms. Long live the undead... and retro gaming!
