I am going to start Deep Fear for the Sega Saturn. I am going in to this game blind. I haven't played it but have had it in my collection for a long time. This is Sega's version / answer to Resident Evil. It was released in Japan and Europe. I am playing the PAL versiion since I can't read the text in japanese.

My first impressions are that the game has great music that sets a tone for the creepy environment you explore. The voice acting is on par with titles from this era but a few characters are pretty bad like the dude in the purple jumpsuit. Unlike Resident Evil you and unequip weapons without going into the inventory. It's a cool game and I am going to finish both discs

This video is the about 1/3 of disc one. I played from the beginning to right after John obtains the Uzi.
