H. P. Lovecraft's mythos lives on, in works like DREDGE. An inventive fishing horror-rpg from New Zealand based game devs Black Salt Games.
Dredge is inspired by the works of Lovecraft, in particular The Shadow Over Innsmouth and The Call of Cthulhu. The original works of cosmic horror.
In Dredge you play as an angler starting a new life in a far off archipelago, misfortune strikes as you are dashed upon the rocks in an _unnatural_ mist.
Borrow a ship, and work off your debt to the mayor of Greater Marrow by venturing out and fishing. But be back before dawn, lest you find yourself not the hunter, but the prey for things lurking in the deeps.
