H. P. Lovecraft's mythos lives on, in works like DREDGE. An inventive fishing horror-rpg from New Zealand based game devs Black Salt Games.
Dredge is inspired by the works of Lovecraft, in particular The Shadow Over Innsmouth and The Call of Cthulhu. The original works of cosmic horror.

In Dredge you play as an angler starting a new life in a far off archipelago, but disaster strikes as you are dashed upon the rocks in the unnatural mist.
Borrow a ship, and work off your debt to the mayor of Greater Marrow by venturing out and fishing. But be back before dawn, lest you find yourself not the hunter, but the prey for things lurking in the deeps.

This is our first look video, where we explore the settings and basic gameplay. Trying to piece together the fragmented story of what has happened to these islands, and what will happen.
