Never end up believing this. It never will be true. People who abuse will stay abusers. Always. That's how "broken goods" are. Don't take a plate for how pretty it was, if broken, it's just a pile of splinters. Same is with people, if they're broken, they're just splinters, irrespective of how pretty or handsome they'd look. If you still lean towards such people, your karma says there are unsolved issues within. And this can be solved in 1 way: either become wiser (and transcend them by introspection and questioning as to why these keep coming back - answers will come when ready) or get back into such relationships, keep suffering until one day you may break as well. There is a reason why in the world there are support centers specifically for victims of narcissism.
