Defeating Cagney Carnation on Expert without Standing on the Platforms
78I recently saw a challenge to beat Cagney Carnation without touching the platforms on chickeninja42's channel - https://www.youtube.com/c/Chickeninja42 - and he didn't think completing the fight on Expert was possible. I was also curious if S-rank was conceivably possible.
Getting a win wasn't too difficult as you just want to use the heart ring to reach 6 HP, use super art II for invincibility during the final phase, and hope you can unload enough damage with spread before you die. Trying to make it through with 3 HP looks like it probably isn't doable barring some incredibly good luck, such as crossing the final phase HP line right as Cagney commits to three seed attacks (unfortunately, his upper face attack is shorter and doesn't seem as much damage can be done with spread) and managing to use spread during it. Maybe a crackshot EX could be used beforehand too if you don't need it for two jumps. Or perhaps the divine relic could help more. I do think ending with 2 HP is doable.
