I originally tried to see if Crackshot EXs and parrying the heart would be sufficient for getting a S-rank. I think it's potentially doable if everything goes perfectly but the heart's position is rarely where you want it. You also need to be stepping off the platforms before using an EX or you'll fall with the platform and not be able to parry it.

With the regular mode jumpless strategy of damage tanking I found Chaser the most useful shot as the low damage is offset by it not missing consistently like with Crackshot. Even if you make it to the final phase with full health, an extra heart, and full cards things can still go wrong.
