In this part, our hero Ace proves how stupid he is by looking for the lost $112,000 in his apartment, even though he never once had the money. The apartment has been ransacked by mobsters who, among other things, shot the couch multiple times and left Ace's gun behind.

Ace also proves how stupid he is by being unable to take something out of an already open drawer without opening it.

Ace gets a hot tip from his consultant: A group of Nordic shoemakers are suspiciously supporting a local ice cream parlor. What?

Ace then goes to Joe's place, where he breaks a window, gets arrested for talking to the police, and killed by Stogie Martin. Ace breaks into Joe's Place and finds a key that wasn't there in the first Deja Vu game.
