Now mad with power, our woeful antagonist completes his plan to poison the city's water supply and then returns to the surface to cruelly ruin a newsboy's flailing business. He meets heavy resistance when trying to topple the Guns & Ammo shop; so, out of sheer spite, he returns to the sewer to poison the water supply a little more.

Then our vile villain turns juvenile: he rings the doorbell of the police station and attempts to hide in the bushes, but the police are too fast for him, and there are no bushes. He adds lying to his criminal repertoire and sweet-talks his way out the death sentence, thus ending whatever deranged quest he was on.

Somewhere, a sewer alligator weeps crocodile tears.
