In this part, our hero Ace breaks into Joe's Place, where he dies because he doesn't know how to use a light switch. Then, with the help of a flashlight, he is able to explore the bar and find more things that weren't there in the first game. Specifically, he finds Siegel's diary and a business card for Sugar Shack.

Ace goes to Sugar Shack's apartment and breaks his way inside. He finds a policeman's uniform in her closet for some reason, and after a vacuum cleaner puzzle, he finds a letter about Siegel and some thugs bribing police officers. This letter is really, really important to the plot of the game...and it was clearly not proofread before being put in this game.
