Delica L300 easy custom side-ladder bracket

3Do not cut up your side panel to mount a ladder on your Delica! You can't fix that once you do it! Leave it intact and pristine and use existing bolts under the van instead. This is my custom ladder bottom mount bracket using angle iron and solid round bar stock from home depot. It didn't take long to craft and it is very solid and strong.
Here is the schematic I made for the flat bar stock prototype. Note that flat bar stock isn't quite strong enough to hold me (about 165 pounds) without flexing a bit. Use angle iron and round bar stock.
