[DEMO DAY] Jumping Cat
1About the game:"Jumping Cat" is a simple and straightforward platform jumping game. In order to revive the lost kingdom, our cat hero puts on his cape and overcomes many obstacles to collect Gold Coins and Paw Gems in dungeons full of traps!
My thoughts: I feel like platformers aren't really my thing. I don't really like having to repeat levels over and over again if I fail. Although saying that, I have played my fair share of platformers and enjoyed them.
Jumping Cat was cute. The art style was beautiful, I really liked the soundtrack and the levels in the demo are well designed and a good level of difficulty. I didn't manage to complete the demo unfortunately. The one thing that took me a little time to get used to is the fact that the movement is slow and floaty and almost like moving through water but I eventually I ended up liking the movement.
