2About the game: Sons of Valhalla is a strategy and base-building game set in the Viking Age. Build fortresses and lay siege to enemy strongholds, gather warriors and board longboats, and engage in personal combat as you raid and conquer across England.
My thoughts: As a fan of side scrollers and pixel games, I was really excited to try out Sons of Valhalla. Visually, it's right up my street and I liked that you had to keep pushing forward and conquering, but resources and people felt limited from the beginning so maybe I needed to wait until I had a bigger army and more resources before heading out destroying people and I kept forgetting the controls so ultimately I failed. However, failure and dying wasn't necessarily the end of the game and that surprised me.
If you're a fan of vikings, pixel games and side scrollers then I think you'll like this game.
