I can't remember where i found this video clip, but it's from the end of a standard 2D video movie that demonstrated this at the end.


So what i did was I took this clip, and played it with GizmoVR in 360 degree mode, and lo and behold, I have a pretty awesome trip through a tunnel or black hole.

As long as the viewer maintains a forward frame of reference at all times, I can see this technique being used for creating 3d movies with a single 2d camera lens.
