Description:
After the Great Twilight, a rogue IDF faction tried to take over Crossbell again, but the SSS and their allies arrested them. Unfortunately, new villains show up to threaten both Erebonia and Crossbell, requiring the efforts of both Class VII and the SSS. Additionally, a new "C" shows up with their own version of the Imperial Liberation Front, but what exactly are they after?

Remember, once you enter, it's a point of no return. While the orbment station inside has some stuff to buy, it won't have everything you might need, like Acerbic Tomato Shakes. These will be necessary to maintain Lloyd's Burning Heart spam in a later fight.
We have to choose between Elie, Tio, and Randy, which sucks because it means the EXP gain will be uneven in the future. As the party descends into the Geofront, Rixia gives them a call and joins them.

Turns out Rixia has high base evasion, allowing me to get her evasion above 50%. This will allow her to dodge most attacks as long as she has the Insight buff. She also has Aegis as a sub MQ to draw aggro.
One of the forced encounters is a tutorial on United Front, which spends an Assault Gauge bar for a massive team attack, which restores BP and provides some buffs.
31:08 Boss: Gundharva (Abyss)
It turns out Asmodyne and Gundharva actually don't benefit from the SPD multiplier on higher difficulties, as part of a design trick to make the early game a bit easier. In that case, they should have applied that to all enemies in the early game, since the player would have to do obscene grinding otherwise just to deal with regular foes and bosses after Gundharva.

The archaism starts to explode, and Lloyd is distracted by this strange man in stealth mode. Fortunately, the two SSS members you didn't bring show up to save the day.
Once you leave the Geofront, you'll be trapped in a sequence of events. Make sure to build the OG SSS members correctly, since they'll be the only party members for the next fight, and the fight after that will force you to start as them.
Also, I recommend getting Lloyd's Brave MQ to level 7, even if it'll take a lot of battles.

Speaker MacDowell has Archbishop Eralda sanction this independence ceremony, but Rufus shows up with several former IDF soldiers, now the Ebon Defense Force. Apparently, he didn't learn his lesson, and now he wants to take control of Crossbell.

This is already hard enough without Rixia's evade tanking, but you also have to try to end the battle with high CP for Lloyd so that you can survive the next fight. Try to use Acerbic Tomato Shakes once the enemy is almost dead so that Lloyd can get to spamming.

The EDF soldiers are still standing in the cutscene because they're powered by the curse, even though Ishmelga should be dead. Rufus himself decides to step in to finish off the SSS.

He starts with the Dis Order Majestic Rain, which slows you down. You have to have Lloyd spam Burning Heart to decrease the duration and hope you have an opportunity to cast Aeon Shield before he can wipe you. Then you have to get evade tank Rixia on the field to distract him while everyone else uses attack and support spells.
Once you deal enough damage, Rufus will announce his intent to finish this. He'll finish you off with an unavoidable S-Craft, but if you get his HP low enough, you'll get bonus RP.

Rufus knocks Lloyd out, sending the citizens into despair. This makes them easy prey for the curse, which is spread by Ilya?! Additionally, Dieter and Garcia are on Rufus's side. Did they really not learn anything from the Zero duology?
Worse yet, a strange soldat that resembles a Divine Knight seems to be doing something in the background.
Rufus announces his plan to take over Zemuria under Crossbell's banner, and the crowd eats it up.
Now we have no choice but to play Rean's route.
