Annoyingly, I'd written a fairly long piece here but then my laptop decided to freeze up on me before it was saved (and mid-upload) and I can't for the life of me remember it all, let alone re-type it all now. For which many of you are no doubt grateful. (I'm now typing this in notepad and hitting ctrl-s at the end of every line, while hoping I can get this uploaded and published less than 24 hours after Lawnboy's video. Quick turnarounds aren't really my thing.)
The gist of it all was/is, I just want to say thanks to Dave/Lawnboy for sharing, show some solidarity (if that's the right word) and let others know they're not alone in this. There ARE people out there who care, there ARE people who understand, and there ARE people who can help. Though I also understand all too well that there are times when you wish there weren't, you wish no-one else was going through what you're going through as it's so damned awful. But talking sometimes helps, so here I am on the 'wrong' side of the camera lens for a change.
If this is irrelevant to you, feel free to move on and we'll get back to wittering on about video games again sometime, but if it IS relevant to you, I hope it helps in some way, however small.
And I also wanted to thank everyone who creates videos, like Dave, as they have been very much appreciated by my wife and I over the past few years, and hopefully many more to come. Another reason why I like to try and give something back, even if my own videos are nowhere near what you might call professional. Or competent.
Anyway, before my laptop crashes and I lose everything again, I'll end with a list of more people we enjoy watching (though I've no doubt still missed out a bunch of people). We might not watch every video, we might not even *like* every video, but we *do* appreciate everything you share. Thank you all.
