Britain's most senior officer in theatre says that 2013 is a key year for the campaign in Afghanistan.

Based out of Kabul, Lieutenant General Nick Carter is Deputy Commander of ISAF and the UK's national contingent commander in Afghanistan.

Forces News has been to see visit him at HQ ISAF to ask him about the policies being adopted as coalition troops prepare for drawdown.
