Another long one.

This level has the robots that ambush and suck your energy. Sometimes they'll drop energy when destroyed. But I know there's a mine coming up that NEVER drops energy, so I'll be stuck with my Gauss cannon.

Hiding the Blue and Yellow keys in the flying bombs was a novel notion. It was almost a pain in the butt having to chase them.

Getting hung up on edges, also very annoying.

When I was using my guided missiles against the missile Hulk, I noticed on the third missile used it was starting to come after me... I read that the AI for the robots in this game were coded similar to what the devs saw players doing in multiplayer in the first game. They added 4000 lines of AI code. They called it 'difficult'. I've coded AI in my space combat demo that tries to keep formation, evade in a firefight, etc. it's certainly a chore.

This is one of my favorite level designs leading to the reactor room. The long lava fall is intimidating.

I missed saving before I left because there was a Missile Hulk eyeing me on the way out. As I recall, there was some bonus I could get if I stuck around, but I chose not to.

Played with a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro Joystick USB.
