There are various form of power sharing in modern democracies such as:-
- Horizontal Distribution of power - Example:- Power is share anong different organs of government such as legislature, Executive and judiciary.
- Vertical Distribution of power-Power share among governments at different levels. such as in India Central governmant and State government
- Community Government - Power shared among different socially active groups such as the religious and linguistic group.
