Not a poll winner, but something I wanted to dual combo for a while.
Despair (SO) and Sorrow (NB), are the sad emotional tracks for the respective games. I would've maybe drew the moment with Linda since that was a strong emotional moment, but I liked how I placed Derek in a dim atmosphere with sunset lighting radiating from the doors of the patient's rooms as if he's the one trapped in the dark or something.
There was a second illustration for the New Blood piece but I scrapped it. It was the same idea as SO's but, instead of using lighting, I was using the size of the layout (Caduceus) to show how small the doctors are compared to the situation. I felt it was not meaningful enough, so I remade the piece and had the NB docs somewhat "encased" in their situation (Responsibility of Chloe). No matter how things are light and bright, heavy things will be around for them to handle.
I will be posting this scrapped art on my FB art page soon.
If I had to choose which is better, I would've chosen New Blood's track. It's just so soft and good (╥﹏╥)
