On Today's Fix: Esports, Halo esports is back with HCS Raleigh wrapping up with record-setting viewership numbers. Cloud9 took home the win over eUnited in a 4-1 smashing, but it wouldn't be an esports event without tech issues. From PC crashes to delays, pro Halo players voiced their frustration, calling for Xbox to be used instead of PCs next time. Still, Halo esports is back, and it's looking bright for the HCS.
In CSGO, s1mple and Navi again took home gold at Blast Premier: World Final, with s1mple taking home another MVP award. That marks 8 MVP titles this year for s1mple, beating the record that dev1ce set with Astralis. Navi had to work through the lower bracket after a loss to Team Liquid, eventually beating Gambit in the finals.
And speaking of Team Liquid, the org got a pair of new owners with Hungrybox and Elige. Seems more and more orgs are making players co-owners these days, so don't expect that trend to die down soon.
