Twitch In Trouble With Creators Streaming TV Shows? -- The Fix: Esports
The Twitch meta of streaming TV shows like MasterChef and anime is starting to come under scrutiny as high profile streamers like Pokimane and Hasan are getting bans and DMCA notices. Is it only a matter of time before xQc gets hit as well? Time will tell.
COVID continues to hit esports hard as many events are scaling back their audiences, removing them entierly, or full-on canceling their events. This includes Halo and the HCS, League of Legends and the LCS, LEC, LPL and LCK, and Street Fighter and the Capcom Cup.
Speaking of LoL, its esports season will continue to march forward as the Spring Split has kicked off with the LPL. The LCK, LCS and LEC will all start this week, too.
