DESTINY 2 NEWS BUNGIE CAUGHT AGAIN AS THEY DOUBLE XP NEEDED TO LEVEL UP AND EARN BRIGHT ENGRAMS??
Transcript:
Hey what’s going on guys, turns out the bad news involving destiny 2 has a new problem today. So after some very dedicated players found that bungie was actually lowering the amount of xp players earned from certain events, all the way down to 4% at times, bungie responded by saying that they had indeed done some work in the background to scale XP up or down depending on the activity that players were engaging in. They admitted it was not that performing as it should and would remove it. It turns out though, that while removing the automatic xp scaling, that they had effectively doubled the amount of XP players now need to level up. Bungie had tweeted this out on one of their official twitter accounts.
They tried to be very sly when adding in that last bit of information about the new amount of xp that was needed to level up. For people who do not know, reddit users had already figured out earlier before any of the updates, that 80,000 xp was needed to level up in Destiny 2 after reaching level 20. I’m not sure if they had planned on doubling the xp for awhile, or if they made this adjustment in response to fans not liking the previous changes. But I think everyone will agree, that doubling the amount of XP needed is a huge change and one that no one will be in support of. Bungie seems to be digging its own grave right now, and I don’t understand why they keep making changes no one is asking them to make. If they truly want to make positive changes and fix parts of their game all they need to do is look at their own website and scroll through some of the forums. The most dedicated and loyal fans are posting what all needs to change, and every time I visit the forums I see the ones that are trending are list of complaints about the game. Bungie really seems to be banking on the DLC to be the solution to players frustration, but after them promising on stream that the new public events would be the most rewarding yet, and then seeing during the stream that the reward was merely 2 tokens and a blue engram, I think it is safe to say no, the DLC won’t magically make players happy and divert away much of the frustration. Also to any of you who are viewing and think I hate the game and love to complain about it. Look at my playtime in the game and you will see I have played a ton of Destiny 2. I make these videos and criticize the game and bungie like so many others, because we love the franchise and want it to see it return to how Destiny 1 year 3 left off. Praising and forgiving bungie on all flaws will never help the game get better or improve, it will just show the developer and publisher that you are happy with whatever they give you and they will proceed to nickel and dime you for everything. Ok now that I’ve made that little statement, what do you guys think of bungie doubling the xp, and do you think they will ever look to fan suggestions and issues, or continue to do what they want. Let me know in the comments below and if you haven’t already make sure to leave a like and hit that subscribe button, and ill see you all on the next Shepard gaming video. Keelah se Lai.
