Got a request from r/RaidSecrets to find out about this hidden scannable in the Volundr Forge area "Smidur's Cavern".
Using the "Quantum Finisher Glitch" I was able to bypass the death barrier and reveal the secrets within.
Unfortunately, looks like a left-over asset from Bungie, as there is no dialog when interacting with it. Ah well.
Bonus clip...found another one of those weird developer cube thingies outside the box barrier. Very interesting.
