4:55 - Jiang Wei is the final general you can recruit that can increase his troop count. He's a fantastic unit, and most importantly he has one of the highest (hidden) speed stats in the game. Being able to cast Ce Mian before the enemy has a chance to use one of their own tactics is the most important part of battles now.

6:45 - Bo Ye, the third of the five Smith swords. It's one of the weaker ones, but still stronger than a Lance.

14:13 - I get greedy here against Cao Zhi out of a desire to want to finish the fight after this without running back to the inn. It doesn't pay off, he casts Wan Fu, and we're back to the beginning of the fight but with less TP and Power Pills.

24:08 - Worst case scenario here as Cao Pi gets an ambush and immediately uses Ji Mian to prevent us from attacking. Fortunately it wears off the same round he casts it. At least he didn't use An Sha.

27:45 - Hilariously you can run into Pang De in Wei. It makes sense for lore reasons, but he still has the same amount of soldiers he had in Shu. Not even Ji Mian makes him a threat.

35:50 - After you reach 10,000 soldiers the bars change from light blue to just blue. It's the second to last color. Also, I run into Cao Zhang in a random battle here. He's a shockingly great generic officer and if you're able to recruit him later he's worth having until your levelers pass his number of troops.

43:00 - Fun twist with Sima Yi here, but also amusing is that his thunder turns your officer portraits around for a short while.
