Destiny of an Emperor - Part 9 - Wu Campaign (Zhuge Jin, Zhang Zhao, Lu Meng)
11:15 - Ma Liang learned An Sha. Having Zhuge Liang go headhunting is a strategy I don't often employ, but it's worth a shot until I hit level 31.
2:20 - Wu is the point of the game where you start dealing with random battles against incredibly dangerous generals that have absurd amounts of HP.
6:36 - An Sha in action. With enough attempts you can usually get a success if Zhuge Liang is casting. I think it's too risky by the end though as I've never had it work on Sima Yi.
9:51 - Crossbow location. Just like the Bow, it hits twice.
11:18 - Splint M location. Not often they hide armor.
18:32 - Here's a random battle going south quickly. Worst case scenario I'll warp out with Gui Huan if needed, but these assassin generals are rough.
26:15 - Nu Long, the first of the five Smith swords and the strongest. At 240 it's tied for the second most powerful weapon in the game.
30:23 - Zhang Zhao is another problem, but at least he doesn't have An Sha. Unfortunately he doesn't have it because his INT is so high at 240 that he has the final tactic for that slot instead, Bei Ji. In any case, Wan Fu's full heal is enough to warrant focusing on him first. Fortunately his HP isn't high enough to really get away from us. Two rounds of Power Pills is enough, and Nu Long definitely helps.
33:06 - At long last, the second and final fortress inn of the game!
36:00 - At 5,000 soldiers the yellow lifebars change into light blue.
47:02 - At level 31 Zhuge Liang learns the last tactic, Ce Mian. It's probably the most important tactic in the game. It uses a lot of TP and can wear off far faster than I'd like, but even with all of that, the ability to negate all enemies tactics is paramount. With Zhuge Liang becoming my tactician again it also means I'll finally be able to use the best healing tactic, Jin Xian. The TP cost is very low and it heals the whole team for around 4,000 HP. Even with how high your soldier count gets by the end of the game this is still the better tactic than Wan Fu. Incidentally, no enemy officer ever uses Ce Mian or Jin Xian.
47:29 - The pirate fight is pretty fun. They're strong alright, but without much intelligence. This leaves the pirates open to just rip them apart with the whole team spamming Huo Shen.
50:27 - The second Smith sword, Qing Long. It also has 240 power.
50:46 - Lu Meng finally makes good on his threats. Ce Mian completely shuts him down.
