Details of that Fantasy Tri-Rail Extension I brought up
This will obviously never exist in real life, especially with Tri-Rail's ongoing Financial Struggle, even if I could see it having a niche purpose. If it actually did exist, then as said, I imagine it would see rather sparse service, likely maxing out at only 4 Round Trips per day, and the Stations outside of Tri-Rail's Namesake Counties would likely all resemble Hialeah Market Station, being very small, and possibly Unstaffed, due to seeing very few trains each day. They would obviously not serve Brightline's planned Station in Stuart and instead have their own separate Station not too far away from it. Tri-Rail would still keep their original name despite it not being accurate anymore all for Novelty's Sake.
I still think Sebastian is a very fair point to terminate since it's right at the tip-top of Indian River County, and the hypothetical Station here would offer not only Bus Connections to points north or west, but also the nearby Sebastian-Roseland Airport. Again, refer to what I said about intended similarities with the Amtrak San Joaquins. Tri-Rail did once own these Connection Buses, and this could've made a really good use of them with this.
And of course, with Tri-Rail's current Fleet, they would probably be able to slimly manage having enough sets to do it all while keeping the normal 26 or so Daily Round Trips, but would need to get most of what's currently OOS back into service again and do better at keeping it all up and running. And since unlike the Map this idea first came from, these trains now don't serve Miami Central, which means F40s, GP49s, and Old Cab Cars are allowed to (and more often than not would) run on these trains. Though last time, I did bring up that the main problem wouldn't be that they only have so much Rolling Stock, or their very old age, but rather that all of Tri-Rail's Coaches, UTDCs and Rotems alike, are only Commuter Cars and simply not fully suited to running a huge 180-Mile run taking probably over 4 hours. They might need to get some Intercity Cars, something similar to the California Cars that are used on that very Amtrak Service I've mentioned repeatedly at this point.
