Detective Pikachu Returns (Part 24): Ditto, Butler's Secret Files
7Part 24 of 43, of a walkthrough for "Detective Pikachu Returns". Tim and Rachel resume asking people about Brad and the purple cubes. They conclude that Brad is conducting his own investigations into the detained Pokemon. They also conclude that the purple cubes are being used to control Pokemon. They decide to report their findings to Detective Pikachu.
In the meantime, Detective Pikachu visits Luxray, before going to the floor above. He has to get past a maze of police officers, to reach the vent that leads to Chief Butler's room. Inside the room is the Ditto that impersonated all the Pokemon. Ditto has no idea it was used to frame Pokemon for crimes.
Pikachu opens Butler's safe. It proves that Butler is being paid by a group named Veritas. He arrested all the Pokemon on their orders, and he plans to move the Pokemon to a new location, soon. There is a picture of various people, including the mayor, Murloch and Jessica.
Butler comes into the room and briefly speaks with a co-conspirator. Sadly, Pikachu is unable to see who it is. Pikachu passes his information onto Tim. They conclude that Chief Butler is the culprit, and he has some sort of control device
