I haven't kept track, but I'm certain Deus Ex is the game I've beaten the most over the years, and I'm not one who typically replays games over and over.

Deus Ex is a game where its sum is greater than its parts. Combat is clunky, the stealth is fine but there's plenty better. There's plenty of jank all over the place. But it's how it all comes together that makes it what it is.

It's a conspiracy-driven thriller that over 20 years later, it's amazing how many predictions this game made that came to happen in our world.

It's one of those "right games at the right time", where the tech became feasible for it, but before a time when the industry moved away from risk-taking.

It's a game that its creator, Warren Spector, wanted to make, it was his dream game. And it came out the way he wanted it to.

So let's dive into the game of Deus Ex, a game that continues to age like the finest of wine.
