Devs on the future & changes they are focused on:

So the Devs made a post about single player priorities and engine
related changes they are focused on. Stated these are top priority.
- An independent mode where you can create your own kingdom with no
main story line = Very Interesting concept and will make for great
custom made story lines.
- More adjustments to kingdom policies = recently nerfed council of
commons, will be similar to that.
- Declaring War and making piece as a kingdom = The buttons will
have some sort of decision on why you want to declare war or
propose peace.
- New perks for skills will be reworked one skill at a time =
Reworking skills one at a time will give the Devs good feedback
and also will not change the game drastically. If they did it all
at once, the whole game might change. Also will balance skills
in general.

- More quests and balancing the effects of them = Personally it
will be hard to make most quests worth it because there are easier
ways to earn the same thing quests offer. Hopefully some good
changes will make them more worth it.
- More Main Story content = Hopefully more interactive quests and
not just busy work. The main quest right now is the definition
of busy work in my opinion.
- Execution Consequences = Makes sense, the hard reputation lose
nerf helped a little bit, but if you execute everyone, who cares
if they hate you. One cool idea i have is maybe have a chance to
get mentally ill or a negative effect if you execute too
many people.
- Hideout Improvements = Made a video about how i would improve it,
but who knows what they will do, im excited.
Link to my video - https://youtu.be/K6LN1jvPXoY
- Kingdom and Economy Balances = The new 1.4 change brought some
good changes to the fief upgrades, but also some bugs. This is an
ongoing process that will go through a lot more changes and bugs.
- Cheering = Very much needed, but i am pretty sure there are mods
for it right now.
- Better Combat performance - Already pretty good, but always room
for improvement.
- Better AI Formations and Tactics = Hopefully more tactics and not
the basic cavalry charge, then infantry or the legendary shield wall
- Siege Towers and Ladder UI Fixes - Hopefully they either choose
to make AI climb up all three ladders or just change the towers
to the ones AI runs on.
- Replay Editor = Very interesting, cool to replay and see how a
looter or peasant killed my lvl 26 knight, cinematics might be
in the near future as well.
- More Modding Tools and Documentation = Mods are great when it
comes to any singleplayer game longevity, best example for this
can be Skyrim or even the Mount and Blade Warband. Better mod
support from devs makes for great communities and a lot better
overall experience for players
- Overall Bug Fixes, FPS and better UI
The Devs end it off with saying these might change if problems
arise; not set in stone.
