You may be wondering why Lunafreya wasn't used in main party. This fight really showcases instead how powerful her LDCA is. In my opinion, utility -wise, this is the BEST call in the game.
In this run, it enabled the use of Kain BT+ without increasing the turn count: this was previously only possible with something like Noctis warpstep or Leila, which is both troublesome to set up.
It also allowed Terra to start the zero turn chain with a free LD use.
Lastly, and many would not realize, it also gave Yang the Heavy Prayer buff and he maintained this the entire fight. In fact he had both this and the Ifrit summon buff for major boost to his attack.
Setup: party position is important!
Terra with 5/5 UW, Rydia LDCA. You can replace this with Raijin or WoL LDCA
Kain with 1/5 UW, Lunafreya LDCA. No replacement for the call unfortunately
Yang with 1/5 UW, Seymour LDCA. You can replace this with Raijin LDCA (in which case you can give Terra a more offensive call such as Prishe). Or you can replace with DKC or Maria LDCA.
Remove all of Yang's Speed passives. These are any passives with the with "Speed" in them. Including Buff Boost Speed. You want him as slow as possible.

Party setup at 8:31. You MUST have this exact order of the party to get the right Prayer buffs from Lunafreya LDCA.
Friend support can be either Sherlotta or Lunafreya at FR30

Reset until Kain goes first and Terra goes second. From the get go, immediately switch the targeting to Coeurl and LEAVE it there until Terra enters BT mode.
Kain uses AA twice, Luna base call then Luna LD call, then BT+, LD and jump.
Terra swaps out for Sherlotta, use S1 five times to charge FR gauge.
Terra uses LD (free turn). Then go Meltdown, Meteor, EX, BT+. This is the order you want, and it's key due to the buffs these attacks grant and their duration.
Then pop Summon

Yang uses LD, and this is the only turn he gets the entire fight. Poor Yang.

Coming out of Summon, have Terra use Rydia LD call then pop BT mode with EIGHT turns of force time remaining. This is also key.

This should bring Ultimecia to about 25% HP
6:56 Finishing Up
Coming out of BT mode, Ultimecia will warp turns and use Apocalypse. Which is good. You will dodge that attack, Kain will use Lancet at 600% bonus. This actually brought Ultimecia to 19% which triggers ANOTHER Apocalypse and 600% Lancet LOL.
Lancet will BREAK Ultimecia and give Terra back her turn. At this point you can finish Ultimecia off with her remaining free turns.
