Raijin LDCA to block the debuffs from the threshold attacks (Mako Cannon+ at 79% and 39%, Inflicted Debuffs at 39%). if you don't have it, get it at the upcoming Reno Banner. Seymour LDCA is for HP damage up call. Lunafreya LDCA is needed for Astos to go 3 consecutive turns.
Strategy Outline:
Astos uses his LD. Aerith charge gauge with S1 until the boss comes out of reset break status. Use Seymour LDCA and Aerith uses S2. Use Raijin LDCA and Weiss uses a skill. Astos uses another LD. Aerith charge gauge until your gauge is near max. Make sure Astos turn behind Aerith. Use her BT Finisher before the boss uses its force ability. Use Lunafreya LDCA, and Luna CA to heal, Astos activates his FR, FR echo & BT finisher. Weiss uses an HP attack. Aerith uses FR echo x2 and LD. Astos goes into his BURST phase - FR, EX, S1 (switch target), LD, S2, S2. If you don't get it killed, watch the threshold attack triggers. Summon Sylph and have Astos uses S2 to finish them up.

≥ 60%: Boss will lower your party ATK, BRV DMG, BRV Gains by 50%
Force Ability
Guided Missile+ – Reset from BREAK, AOE BRV. Deals 90% self-harm HP damage. Grants 300k BRV barrier to the party. If the boss is in Down State, the boss will use Reboot (remove any aura), followed by the Guided Missile+ HP attack.
Force Time | 10 turns
Gains the following enhancements during force time
• Uses Machine Gun+: BRV, delays target 1 turn
• All Enemies Can not gain BRV
Force Weakness: Use melee FR ability Cancel boss force time
Key HP thresholds
- SHINRYU auras will trigger at the start of the fight and the 79% HP threshold
- All debuffs applied by the bosses will bypass debuff any evasion mechanics.
- Boss will use Mako Cannon+ (guaranteed hit, ST ranged brave, dispel 1 buff. Inflict 3 turn Poison framed debuff) at the 79% HP threshold and get into Down State
- It will use Down State Loop until the 59% HP threshold. Depending on the aura gained, it will use either Reboot or Reboot+
- Aura gained depends on the number of field turn lapsed – No aura (0 – 4T), blue aura (5 - 9T), yellow aura (10 – 19T), and red aura (20T). Aura check will occur during the Down State Loop.
- It will use Reboot if the aura is either blue, yellow, or no aura and deactivate Down State
- It will use Reboot+ if the aura is red where it will follow immediately with Guided Missile++, which dispels all buffs, guaranteed hit AOE BRV damage, and deals 90% self-harm HP to all targets.
- It will use Inflicted debuffs at 39%, where it will inflict 3 framed debuffs – ATK-100%, SPD-100%, MAX BRV-100% for 5T. This will be followed by Mako Cannon+ and the boss will go into Down State after using it.
- Stays at Down State Loop until the 19% HP threshold. It will gain an aura during the Down State Loop turns.
- It will use Reboot or Reboot+ depending on the aura at the 19%, If it uses Reboot+, it will follow up with Guided Missile++.
- Boss will rotate between Mako Cannon and Machine Gun as its basic rotation. Both are ST ranged brave attacks.
