DFFOO GL - Freya Lufenia Saga #53 - Gladiolus Lost Chapter COMPLETE
This one was a little trickier than I anticipated. It's a simple one in theory, just bring delay and elemental enchant, and insta-break and you're good to go and pummel away at them. However, while the Orb goes up by a lot and has a high max count, the starting count is really low, so the starting turn order was kind of strict for me. I needed to be able to set up both my Kurasame LDCA for a few turns of Ice Enchant, and get CoD to act soon after to use S2 to push the orbs up and then Bartz needed to insta-break. Because of this the enemy does have to take some turns at the start but Freya's Last Stand saved anyone from getting KO'd.
Something else I discovered, which might be a bug, is that Fujin's regular CA (party Wind enchant), combined with Bartz's special Wind Imperil aura, will NOT cause the Orb to go up when you then delay with CoD! CoD will still do elemental weakness damage but it won't count the orb up when you delay. For some reason, it seems like the boss needs to have an elemental imperil debuff actually on them and you have to hit that matching element for it to actually count, and Fujin's regular CA doesn't imperil, it only enchants with Wind. Fujin LDCA works, but only because it already imperils the enemy anyway with an actual debuff, so the Bartz/Fujin LDCA synergy trick isn't actually that helpful here, though Fujin LDCA is still a fine option for an elemental enchant/imperil here since it's for six turns. So that was a weird quirk. If that technique did count the orb up here, it would have made the starting turn order less strict.
I also wish I could have the friend CoD go for longer, but the enemies' break recovery was out of sync so the friend CoD was breaking them with the BT follow-up and getting turns sooner than I'd like.
Other than that though, delay and pummel as much as you can and just stack up on auras and battery. I did let them get one big ALL attack in at the very end, but was able to heal back up with Freya AA and HP Regen so it was fine.
