DFFOO GL (Golbez, Clad In Darkness CHAOS) Bartz, WoL, Y'shtola
Shiva summon, Setzer friend EX+3LB
Note: All 3 characters are EX+3LB with their bloom passives. Bartz has 3x Simple Mastery ** artifacts.
Wave 3: Holy Dragon, Cavalier (finished on turn 42)
The Cavalier is more dangerous than the Holy Dragon since it does AOE BRV breaks which can break your turn and surprise your team with an HP attack. Thus keeping WoL shields on is a safety net to protect your party for this. Save up Y'shtola Stone+ where possible you need all of them. Bartz should keep on using his EX (when it is ready) to refresh his EX buff (which offers BRV overflow boost for the party). Bartz should have achieved Full Mastery in this wave to have his Simple Mastery aura kicks.
Wave 5: Flawless (finished on turn 125)
You will fight it twice. It will use Curaga to restore its HP back to max (removes all debuffs as well in the process) after you killed it for the first time. The boss hits pretty hard.
Phase 1 (before it is killed) (completed on turn 87)
It will primarily use Flare (ST magic), Scintillating Slash (ST Holy BRV, removes non-framed buffs), Angelic Auerole (AOE magic BRV, removes non-framed buffs, gains BRV & max BRV and reduces its turn rate - 36k (!). Gains aura when its HP drops to below 50%. It uses Holy Sword Art (BRV gain if BRV lower than Int BRV, BRV+HP removes non-framed buffs). It will repeat another Angelic Aureole (45k (!)) and Holy Sword Art. It will use Homing Ray (BRV gain, AOE BRV, high turn rate upon breaking). Do try to avoid breaks or it will mess up your turn order. Bartz can easily shave the BRV with either his EX or Missile+. Before I kill the boss, I summon Shiva.
Use the summon to kill has its advantage as it prevents the immediate Angelic Auerole follow up along prevention of that defensive aura trigger. Make sure WoL's shield is up before you end the summon phase. (I messed up a bit as I mistimed my kill and waste 1 turn in the summon to finish up the kill)
Phase 2: After it revives itself for the first time (completed on turn 125)
Once it gets its first turn (after the summon phase is over), it will use Angelic Auerole for 51k BRV and it follows up with a BRV gain Holy Sword Art+. If Bartz's turn isn't up, delaying with Y'shtola Stone+ so that Bartz can do the honors. Since the boss will start with a series of mad moves to build to its Bright Ray (the equivalent of Mega Flare sans the countdown timer). After the boss uses Scintillating Slash (i.e. boss' 4th turn after Angelic Aureloe and revival), I swap out my WoL for friend Setzer. Use Red Card to delay and if you break the boss, you will delay 2 more turns. Apply Freeze Joker to minimize any BRV gain for the boss. Setzer's job is to ensure you survive that Bright Ray AOE nuke. (Do not over delay the boss until you eat the Bright Ray AOE nuke without Setzer’s freeze debuff, you can use the moveset flowchart on how to time your delay). When WoL is back, it is business back to usual and you should be able to kill without any difficulty.
FYI: The full moveset after its revival - Angelic Aureloe : Holy Sword Art : Homing Ray : Scintillating Slash : Angelic Aureloe : Bright Ray : Scintillating Slash : Angelic Aureloe (repeat)
Turn count by waves for pacing

Wave 4: Gargoyle x2 (finished on turn 45)
