Diablo is a very contentious game in the roguelike community; but DiabloRL really goes to show just how close to a traditional roguelike the original Diablo basically was.

For those who have played the original Diablo, you should actually be fairly in tune with what to expect from this title. While Turn-based, in ASCII graphics, and lacking the save & load feature of the original title; quite a bit of the original game remains the same - minus some small things like projectiles being instantaneous and there being an automove feature.
