I received a copy of this game to review via Steam Curator from the Steam Roguelike group I moderate.

Valley Knights is a mash up of several genre. You play on a map that is the same everytime - but has randomized nodes each time you play. You have text-based events that you encounter which will have different options for you to play with - sometimes resulting in battle.

In battle you play with an action point system. Each action point can be used for activities such as attacking or moving, or special abilities. There is also a morale system in play and the general battlefield makeup is broken down into hexes.
