I watched or read a lot of guides to ensure my memory of the old days was still there. In the process of that, I decided to make notes to help returning or new players. Notes of what I felt were missing from those guides
If I said or posted anything wrong you are welcome to correct me respectfully
The TLDR version:
75% Chance to Block is the cap
When running block chance is reduced by 1/3 rd
50% Damage Reduction is the cap. Damage reduction applies to physical damage only
As Werebear or Werewolf you have a faster recovery animation without a shield than the other characters
D2 internally ran at 25 FPS. Unknown how Resurrected is going to handle things
Absorb decreases damage taken, and converts the damage to health
Resistances apply first. % Absorb applies next. Flat absorb applies after
Magic Damage is its own thing. You will rarely find resistances towards it
Diversify your build. There are some monsters that are immune to something
