After entering the Drowned Temple and destroying Maghda's minions, Maghda informs Lieah that her mother is actually alive. We collect the second shard, and return to New Tristrum. We set out for the fishing village of Wortham, where Maghda's minion have attacked. Before we can take the final shard, Maghda takes it and steals the other two shards. Maghda forces Cain to repair the sword, but when he refuses Maghda kidnaps the stranger. Cain repairs the sword before dying, I take the sword and head out after Maghda. Eventually I must travel through the massive Spider's Cavern, where I get lost very easily. I reach the queen spider and kill her, freeing a captured woman in the process. The woman tells of stealing the staff from the local goatmen, causing them to rampage in the fields ahead.
