Quick Tips
I usually activate /players4 before going into the jail in the cathedral/monastrery.
You can use stealth in 2 open socket armor (grey not magical) dont try and put the runeword in Mechanics, Artisan since they are magical but with sockets.

Tal, Eth for stealth in that order.

Before going Nightmare i recommend 2 open socket armor (body) with Nef, Lum for Smoke (One of the thing it gives is 50+ All Res) if you combine it with the Act V quest for saving the Barb-BQs you get Ral, Ort, Tal wich in a 3 open socket shield usually Large Shield or Kite Shield gives Ancients Pledge for more ress.

Note there is also a quest for adding sockets although save that quest for doing cows normal, when you find a broadsword, longsword or crystal sword white one, if you bring it to Larzuk for the socket then it gains 4 open sockets usefull for spirit runeword.
