Did I Forget My Name Again?
5Ever since he came to Igyria, Aaron has had a hard time remembering his name. He hardly remembered who he was when he woke up. Starr is constantly having to remind him about what his name is. There was a time in his life where there was no one to remind him of what his name was. He used to think that he didn’t have a name. He just went by what certain people called him, but none of those things were ever names, let alone his name. It took him a while to be called by any name. Even now he doesn’t respond to his name because he forgets. He blames the dehumanization he went through in the past. He’s not used to being called by a set name, even several years in the future. This is why he chose his name. He can remember a name he chose rather than a name he was assigned.
