Did Samsung Galaxy S23 make recording break preorders in India?
The brand-new Galaxy S23 series was unveiled by Samsung last week, and despite the price increase, the company received about 140,000 pre-orders in India in the first day. That's roughly twice as many pre-orders for the Galaxy S22 as there were last year, demonstrating the high demand for high-end devices in the nation. It's possible that Samsung's pre-order incentives and freebies tipped the scale in favor of the company. The pre-order distribution was kept secret by a Samsung spokesperson. There would be $169 million in revenue since the average selling price of a Galaxy S23 member is approximately INR 99,000 ($1,200).
Samsung recently established a sizable production facility in India, the biggest in the nation, where the Galaxy S23 series sold there are put together.
