759The foam soap called Monster Sap that Kevin buys at Duncan’s Toy chest is used to make Harry slip off of the ladder later, and Kevin uses it to make Marv slip in the basement. It is actually completely fake, and just like the Talkboy, it was designed specifically for this movie. Tiger Electronics ended up selling Monster Sap in their catalog in limited quantities, but they were made with the Home Alone 2 logo on the packaging.The soap was discontinued in 1993, and it is now considered a rare collector’s item. As for the Talkboy, it didn’t even exist before Home Alone 2 came out. It was specifically created for this film, but after the movie became a hit, Tiger Electronics created and distributed their own version.
