3,599Noomi Rapace was able to use some knowledge she already knew, but she also dove head first into embracing her character’s backstory. Noomi was raised as a child in Iceland. While she lived there, she learned the language, and this is the first film that she has starred in that she actually got to speak it. On top of that, she also spent some time with sheep farmers in Iceland. She even learned how to help birth a lamb while she was researching her role.
