Did You Know In SLUMBERLAND…
It is actually based on a Sunday comic strip series called “Little Nemo in Slumberland”, and it has been adapted multiple times. It was created by Winsor McCay, and it ran from 1905 to 1927. This is the second official adaptation after the 1989, Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland. There were also three Japanese shorts made in 1978, 1984, and 1987 that helped lead up to the 1989 film. Another unofficial adaptation comes in the form of the Nintendo Entertainment System game, Little Nemo: The Dream Master which came out in 1990. They decided to change the character of Flip for this adaptation since Flip was originally short and fat with a green face and cigar.
