16,301A weapon is used that is a reference to the television special! One of the Madalorians new weapons was his awesome Amban phase-pulse blaster rifle, which was based off a weapon seen earlier in the franchise. In 1978, Star Wars released a televised holiday special which had the first on screen appearance of Boba Fett before ‘The Empire Strikes Back.’ Despite the special being a failure and forgotten by most fans, the weapon is a nod to the fan-favourite bounty hunter who can be seen carrying a very similar looking weapon.
