5,407Ingrid was announced as a character that will arrive in season 3 of Street Fighter 6, but many people are wondering: who is Ingrid? She was actually created by former SNK developers who migrated to Capcom shortly after the bankruptcy of the company that created KOF. That's where Ingrid was. She is around 80 years old, according to one of the developers. She was supposed to be one of the three original characters, but she was the only one who was saved when she became pixel art and was placed in the game Capcom Fighting Evolution where she is one of the secret bosses and maintains all of her original gameplay seen in Code Holders. But everything gets even more confusing when Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max arrives, the most complete PSP version of the franchise, which put Ingrid as one of the new playable characters using the sprites from Capcom Fighting Evolution, and here she received a story where she is nothing less than the most powerful character in the entire Street Fighter franchise. In Alpha 3, Ingrid simply has the power of telekinesis, controls light and part of her powers are what feed the Psycho Drive machine, which gives powers to Bison, who is very easily defeated by her in the story (Evil Ryu too). Rose, for example, who did this with all the characters, can't see Ingrid's future or past and in the end the girl reveals herself to be non-human and simply travels through time at her leisure. In her gameplay she uses a lot of fireballs, counter attacks and is always very positive, however she has little health, very much like Akuma. She also appears in several other games and media, but none of them are canon. Due to a translation error, the American version of Street Fighter Alpha 3 says that she has the Psycho Power, the power used by Bison, Ed and others, which has already been corrected by the game's producer, but in any case she has a connection with these characters who have this power.
