Edit: It turned out that Gorou is not longer, but his model is shifted forward. I tested moving forward to the very edge briefly, and per my tests nobody gets lifted there. But if I do a couple steps backwards, some characters do, and some don't. And if some don't get lifted, Gorou is among them. So it seems like he is indeed not longer, but more forward instead.
