Today’s video is a discussion about difficulty in gameplay with different games such as the new Elden Ring, or any game by Fromsoftware.

Jack recently re-purchase The Elder Scrolls Morrowind. Spy asks him about this wanting to understand why Jack would go back that many years in gaming history. Jack explains that Morrowind has a lot of the mechanics that he and many other gamers enjoyed about single player RPGs. He goes further, saying that these aspects have been lost to time.

Check out the video and then join the discussion down below.

Question: What do you think about difficulty being present in games to a degree that people may be put off by it? Let us know in the comments below.

As always, we also enjoy reading other comments too: thoughts about the video (good or bad, we can take it), things you want to see covered in the future, or whatever else is on your mind.

***About SpyPie***

At SpyPie Gaming, we respect videogames and what they offer. We strive to have everything you need to stay current: highlights of games worth playing, news about the industry, and coverage of the community surrounding the hobby we’re most passionate about—gaming.

We're currently a team of two highly dedicated contributors.

When we started, we hit the ground running down a narrow path. That has changed. We realized, rather quickly, that we're better than the credit we gave ourselves. That being said, we're still evolving. We know we're not on the level of more well known publications—yet.

We consider ourselves professionals. So, you can expect a touch of professionalism in everything we put out. If not, feel free to speak up. We believe in the concept of continuous improvement. Which leads to another thing you’ll find here: diverse perspectives.

We believe tolerance of differing views is essential to community—and that's what we're here to achieve after all: building a community.
