Around 2 hours 16 minutes to beat. The shitty control took a while to get used to. I crawled through for a while until I adapted to it. I realised late that I could drill each hole in 4 directions, creating 4 walls. Doing that makes it easier to block enemies off. I changed controllers mid way because I thought maybe my controller was the issue, but the game just plays like shit. The first game was one of my favorites on the Atari 2600. I left this unedited since this game is not worth editing. The ability to continue is shown in the manual , as well as activated by pressing up or down in the pre-game screen, so I consider it legit. I only used save, load states and fast forwarding to speed up the resetting process, not give myself any extra advantages. For some reason the later parts are much easier than earlier parts of the game. Some early areas put you on very small islands with 9 or 10 enemies and no walls. The shitty control makes that very hard to manuever around.
